In 2016, NeuroFormed Ltd participated in an innovative piece of marketing for Toyota ahead of the launch of its new car: the C-HR.
The historic Jandorf department store in the heart of Berlin had been derelict for many years, so it was taken over for the duration of the C-HR festival, running over two weeks.
It was jammed full of art, a pop-up restaurant and bar were installed up on the first floor, there was a VR demonstration of the 3D design package TiltBrush and throughout the day there was an eclectic program of talks, music and performance.
Our contribution was to describe the strategies for fostering innovation employed by some of mankind's finest creative minds and the light that neuroscience sheds on the mechanisms by which these approaches might boost our own creativity.
The talk went down extremely well and we were kept busy with questions from the audience that went on for longer than the actual talk; a level of engagement that was precisely what the client had hoped for!
