Magnum Ice Cream Campaign 2023

Neuroformed Ltd were invited to create a neuroscience-based campaign for Magnum ice cream to help people increase the pleasure they experience both online and off.


This resulted in a list of Top 10 Brain Hacks for a Better Offline Quality of Life:


  1. Prioritise Sleep

  2. Exercise Daily

  3. Meditation Changes Brains for the Better

  4. Make Room for Daydreaming

  5. Collect Hobbies

  6. Get Socially Connected

  7. Help Others

  8. Pursue Novelty

  9. Embrace Mother Nature

  10. Reduce Stress with 7-11 Breathing


And Ten Brain Hacks for a Better Online Quality of Life:


  1. Take a 10 min screen break every hour

  2. Do "yogic" eye exercises in the 10 min break

  3. Every 20 mins, look at least 20 metres into the distance, for 20 seconds

  4. Limit social media to 1-2 hours per day

  5. Thou shalt not binge

  6. No screens in the bedroom

  7. One app at a time

  8. Thou shalt not troll

  9. Always favour offline over online

  10. Spend time online learning things that enrich life when offline
